A Leap of Faith – DLBCL

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society identifies diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) as the most common form of lymphoma, making up more than 25% of cases in the U.S.

Karen, 56, was diagnosed with DLBCL shortly after she lost all feeling in her legs and became paralyzed below her waist. But that wasn’t the end of her journey. Medical Stories follows Karen as she learns to walk again, using the two loves of her life as motivation: music, and her family.

Featuring renowned expert: Amitkumar Mehta, Hematology Oncologist at The Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital, Principal Investigator of Innovative Clinical Trials, UAB
