Designer Brooke Thabit has an easy smile and an uncommon determination to live life to the fullest. An avid surfer as a teenager, her first love was the ocean. Today her dream is to design homes to suit the needs of people in wheelchairs. It’s a life she knows a great deal about. Everything changed for Brooke one night when she dove into shallow water and suffered injuries that caused her to lose the use of her arms and her legs. This is her inspiring story.
